Mass Creating Leads

If you have leads from external sources that do not automatically sync with Exabloom, you can import them and create lead records in bulk using a simple workflow.

Example Scenarioโ€‹

You run a Google Ads campaign and generate 1,000 leads, but these leads are not yet in Exabloom. You want to:

  1. Import the leads into Exabloom
  2. Ensure each contact has an associated lead record in the "Leads" page

Instead of manually creating each lead record, we will use Workflows to automate this process.

Step-by-Step Guideโ€‹

Step 1: Import Contacts into Exabloomโ€‹

  1. Go to the Contacts Page in Exabloom.
  2. Import the leads (upload your list of contacts).
    • Exabloom will automatically filter out duplicate phone numbers and only import unique contacts.
  3. Verify the import by checking that the new contacts appear in the Contacts Page.

๐Ÿ“Œ At this stage, these contacts exist in Exabloom, but they do not yet have associated lead records.

Step 2: Easily Locate Imported Contactsโ€‹

To quickly find the contacts you just imported:

  1. Go to the "Bulk Actions" Page
  2. Locate the completed bulk action for your contact import
  3. Click on the three-dot menu (โ‹ฎ) and select:
    • "View Contacts > All contacts in bulk action"
    • This will direct you to the Contacts Page, automatically filtered to show only the imported contacts

Step 3: Create Lead Records Using a Workflowโ€‹

To ensure each contact has a corresponding lead record in the Leads Page, we will use an automated workflow:

  1. Create a New Workflow

    • Go to the Workflows section and create a new workflow.
  2. Add the "Create Lead" Action

    • No trigger is needed.
    • Use the "Create Lead" action.
    • By default, Exabloom prevents duplicate leads in the same pipeline.
      • If you need to allow duplicates, adjust the settings accordingly.
  3. Save the Workflow

Step 4: Send Contacts to the Workflowโ€‹

Now, we will bulk send the contacts to the workflow, which will automatically create lead records for them.

  1. Go to the Contacts Page (filtered to show imported contacts)
  2. Select all the imported contacts
  3. Click "Add to Workflow"
  4. Choose the newly created workflow
  5. Set the batch processing settings:
    • Batch Size: 5 contacts per batch
    • Interval: 1 minute

๐Ÿ•’ This ensures a controlled processing rate, preventing system overload and ensuring smooth execution.

Step 5: Monitor Progressโ€‹

  1. Go to the "Bulk Actions" Page
  2. Track the workflow progress
  3. Once all contacts have been processed, each will have an associated lead record in the "Leads" Page.

โœ… Mission accomplished! You have successfully imported and created lead records for all external leads.

Summaryโ€‹

By following this method, you can efficiently import thousands of leads into Exabloom without manual data entry, ensuring a smooth and automated lead management process. ๐Ÿš€
