Create a New Pipeline

Pipelines help you organize and track your leads effectively. Whether you're managing customer inquiries, sales opportunities, or service requests, creating a pipeline is the first step to staying on top of your opportunities. Here's how to create a new pipeline:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to Settings > Pipelines

  1. Navigate to Settings in the main menu.
  2. Click on Pipelines to access the pipelines management page.

Step 2: Click "New Pipeline"

  1. On the Pipelines page, click the "New Pipeline" button.
    • This will open a configuration window where you can set up your pipeline.

Step 3: Specify the Pipeline Name

  1. In the Pipeline Name field, enter a name that clearly describes the purpose of the pipeline.
    • Example: If you're creating a pipeline to track sales opportunities, name it "Sales Pipeline".
    • Tip: Use a name that makes sense to your team and aligns with your business needs.

Step 4: Configure Stages

  1. Switch to the Stages tab.
  2. Add the stages for your pipeline. Each stage represents a step in your process.
    • Example: For a Sales Pipeline, you might add stages like:
      • New Inquiry
      • Quote Sent
      • Follow-Up
      • Closed
  3. Arrange the stages in the correct order by dragging and dropping them.

Step 5: Customize Data Fields (Optional)

  1. Switch to the Data Fields tab.
  2. Here, you can choose which fields to show or hide within this pipeline.
    • Example: If you don’t need to see the "Referral Source" field in this pipeline, you can hide it.
    • Tip: Only show fields that are relevant to this pipeline to keep it clean and focused.

Step 6: Click "Create"

  1. Once you’ve configured the pipeline name, stages, and data fields, click the "Create" button to confirm.
  2. Your new pipeline will now be created and added to the list of pipelines.

What Happens After Creation?

  1. Pipeline List: Your new pipeline will appear in the list of pipelines on the Pipelines page.
  2. Leads Page: You’ll see the pipeline as a filter option on the top left of the Leads page.
    • Use this filter to view and manage leads within the specific pipeline.

Example: Creating a "Sales Pipeline"

Let’s say you want to track sales opportunities. Here’s how you’d set up the pipeline:

  1. Pipeline Name: Sales Pipeline
  2. Stages:
    • New Inquiry
    • Quote Sent
    • Follow-Up
    • Closed
  3. Data Fields:
    • Show: Name, Email, Phone, Inquiry Date
    • Hide: Referral Source (if not needed).
